THE PROJECT
The S.P.L.A.S.H. Project was born from love, loss, and the enduring belief that art and community can heal.
On Father’s Day in June 2016, Iran Jr. Brugueras—lovingly known as “Splash”—passed away unexpectedly. From a young age, Iran faced the challenges of mental illness with remarkable courage and honesty. Through music, poetry, and performance, he transformed his pain into purpose, using his voice to bring hope and connection to others on similar journeys.
To honor his life and the values he embodied, his family created The S.P.L.A.S.H. Project—Special People Looking & Aiming for Success & Health. Today, S.P.L.A.S.H. is more than a space—it is a living legacy. Reimagined in his honor, it carries forward his passion for music, storytelling, and creative expression.
The vision is deeply rooted in the influence of his father, Iran Brugueras, Sr.—a visionary entrepreneur, mentor, and his manager—who helped guide and nurture his artistic journey. Together, their legacy bridges generations, creativity, and community. “Splash” represents impact: making waves, being seen, and leaving a lasting mark.
His voice lives on through every story created here. At S.P.L.A.S.H., there’s no excuse—only opportunity.
